Supporting Yateley Industries

Yateley industries are based in Hampshire. They exist to provide meaningful employment and to encourage independent living for disabled people.

The heart of the operation is at the sheltered factory, which employs people with disabilities under the 'Work Choice Programme'. This government funded scheme means that all of those employed earn at least the minimum wage. And those working at the factory carry out skilled packing and assembly work including heat sealing, component assembly, flat pack box assembly and a range of other packing services.

Having worked with a number of established companies including Lakeland and QVC, Yateley Industries have a proven record in delivering a quality service. The Yateley site also accommodates 28 residents. These help to create a friendly and fulfilling community for both residents and visitors making it a wonderful place to reside.

With an increasing number of disabled and vulnerable people wanting to live and work at Yateley Industries, they have embarked on a large scale £1.5m building project. They are reliant on the generosity of local authorities, foundations and donors to make their vision a reality and are hugely grateful for any support they receive.

Yateley Industries are working towards equal opportunities and independence for disabled and vulnerable people. Here at ua, we believe in their mission and want to help them to continue making such a valuable difference.
